President of Love Blue
I was fortunate enough to grow up spending my summers on the beach. At a young age, I grew a strong love for the ocean, constantly surfing, fishing, swimming, always in the ocean. As I got older I started appreciating the ocean a lot more. When eligible I went after my dream job as a lifeguard for the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol. Year after year of being a guard I go to first-hand witness the pollution problem on our beaches. Throughout the years I’ve seen the problem grow worse and worse, to the point where there would be trash floating up to my stand on the incoming tides, I would witness beachgoers leaving their trash on the beach as they headed home. I thought to myself could this problem grow much worse? You look at awareness about this problem starting to grow on all different spots of the world, there’s trash everywhere...literally. Five years lifeguarding, five summers too many of letting this problem prolong. I organized Love Blue with some of my surfer and lifeguard friends who shared the same connection with God’s greatest gift. Together we hope to spread awareness about ocean/beach pollution, remove as much trash as we possibly can, and open the eyes of everyone around the world so that we can change the route our Earth is headed. We want to set up a brighter, cleaner, and safer future for all life.

My entire life I spent my summers on the wildwoods island. At an extremely young age, I realized I had a strong attraction to the ocean. I truly fell in love with being in the water and gained a great level of respect for this gift. I have always been constantly swimming, surfing, boating, anything and everything you could imagine in the ocean. As I grew older I felt as if I owed back to the sea and everything it has to offer to us. At the age of 17, I got my childhood dream job as a lifeguard and this is where I began to see the problem first hand. I feel as if this is my mission to protect and keep our beautiful oceans safe. As well as my team, this is what drove us together to create love blue and vow to make a change!

I have always felt grounded and inspired by nature. As an artist, I express myself to encourage others to embrace their passions and uniqueness. I believe that art has the power to build a bridge between important causes and the public. It educates, spreads awareness, and good vibes that bring people together. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to create art to spread Love Blue's message of making our environment a safer and cleaner place.
